Primary Sector

You have to learn and study about the primary sector and its activities. At the end of the next two weeks you have to show a mural/poster to your class in which you explain what is the primary sector, which activities and jobs are included and, of course, what raw materials are. In addition, you have to explain the primary sector in Spain.

 

                               

 

 

There are five primary sector activities in the photographs. Can you name them all? Take a pencil and a notebook and write them. Then click on the button and do the activity, copying down your answers.

JOBS

PEOPLE

How many people work in Spain in the primary sector? In Spain there are around 46 million people. Calculate which percentage of people belongs to the primary sector.

RAW MATERIALS

Raw materials are the base for the primary sector. Read the definition you have on the  raw materials button and give examples of them.

 

Organize them depending on the five different economic activities that are part of the primary sector.
